Control the movement both on the way up and down to keep tension on the abs and protect your lower back.
How-to-do Steps
- Secure your legs at the end of the decline bench and lie down with a dumbbell held overhead.
- Engage your abs and lift your upper body towards your thighs, keeping the dumbbell overhead.
- Slowly lower back down to the starting position while still keeping the dumbbell overhead.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
