Expert Advice
Press through the balls of your feet and fully extend your ankles at the top of the movement to maximize calf muscle contraction.
How-to-do Steps
- Sit in the sled machine with your back against the pad and feet on the platform.
- Position the balls of your feet at the bottom of the platform with heels hanging off.
- Unlock the safety bars and press up through your toes to lift the weight.
- Lower the weight back down until your calves are fully stretched.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
