Keep your core engaged and maintain a slight bend in the knee of the working leg to prevent locking out the joint.
How-to-do Steps
- Stand on a step with the ball of one foot on the edge and the other foot hanging off.
- Hold onto a support for balance if needed.
- Lower your heel below the step to stretch your calf.
- Push through the ball of your foot to raise your heel as high as possible.
- Lower back down with control and repeat for the desired number of repetitions before switching legs.
