Keep the movement controlled and avoid bouncing at the bottom. Push through the balls of your feet to fully activate the calf muscles.
How-to-do Steps
- Sit on the machine and place the balls of your feet on the foot platform with heels extending off.
- Place your thighs under the lever pad and adjust to fit snugly.
- Push up to lift the lever slightly and release the safety bar.
- Lower your heels by bending at the ankles until calves are fully stretched.
- Raise the heels by extending your ankles as high as possible.
- Pause at the top, then slowly lower back to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
