Lever Leg Press (Plate)

Expert Advice

Do not lock your knees at the top of the movement and avoid letting your knees cave in. Keep your feet flat on the platform.

How-to-do Steps

  1. Sit in the leg press machine with your back and head resting comfortably against the padded support.
  2. Place your feet shoulder-width apart on the footplate.
  3. Lower the safety bars and press the platform away until your legs are extended but not locked.
  4. Slowly lower the platform by bending your knees until they form a 90-degree angle.
  5. Push through your heels to extend your legs and return to the starting position.
  6. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
