Dumbbell Standing Inner Biceps Curl

Expert Advice

Turn your wrists inwards at the top of the curl to maximize the contraction in the biceps.

How-to-do Steps

  1. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a dumbbell in each hand with arms fully extended and palms facing each other.
  2. Curl the weights while keeping your elbows close to your torso.
  3. As you lift, rotate your wrists so that your palms face up at the top of the movement.
  4. Squeeze your biceps at the top, then slowly lower the weights back to the starting position.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
