- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart.
- Perform a squat by bending your knees and lowering your hips back and down.
- As you rise from the squat, lift one knee towards your chest.
- Lower the lifted leg back down and immediately go into another squat.
- Alternate the knee lift with each squat repetition.
