Fixed Bar Back Stretch
Expert Advice
Keep your knees slightly bent and relax into the stretch, allowing your back to decompress naturally.
How-to-do Steps
- Stand facing a fixed bar at about waist height.
- Grasp the bar with both hands, shoulder-width apart.
- Step back from the bar, allowing your hips to push back and your head to lower between your arms.
- Hold this position, feeling a stretch in your lats, shoulders, and traps.
- Maintain the stretch for 20-30 seconds, breathing deeply.
- Release and repeat if necessary.
